The Misadventures of Elise: Viva La Duct Tape
I was doing some grocery shopping for my mom last night.
And as soon as I got out of the car to go into the store, my flip-flop broke.
I didn’t have anything with me to fix it, but I was too far from home to change shoes.
So I couldn’t run home and get another pair of shoes. And I had to get Mom’s shopping done. I guess I could’ve gone barefoot into Wal-Mart, wouldn’t be the first person to have done it, I’m sure. But I couldn’t do it. So I had to shuffle through Walmart.
Step with the left foot, slide the right, step left, slide right…
And I’m still wearing those flip-flops today! 🙂
