Welcome Home, Billy!

I adopted a new kitten today!

I’ve named him Billy, after Billy Idol, since I had to follow my singer/songwriter pet name theme.

I saw him online and went to the shelter out in Yukon to meet him this morning.

He totally ignored me the entire time I was there. But he played with the other cats and kittens in the adoption room. And that’s exactly what I wanted! I wanted a friend for Indie. I know she doesn’t always get the attention that she deserves, so I thought she’d love having a friend.

He escaped 3 times as the shelter worker tried to get him in the carrier! He’s definitely going to be a feisty one. He’s been hiding under the furniture since I got him home, but I can’t wait until he’s comfortable and makes his presence know.
